Healing from Light Wounds The boxer had remained in the hospital while recovering from minor injuries, his management team had said on Monday. The commissioner for information and strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, said in a statement on social media that Joshua was judged healthy enough to continue his recovery at home. “Joshua and his mother were at the funeral home in Lagos this afternoon to say their last goodbyes to his two deceased friends as they were being readied to be sent home,” the official remarked. Remembering the Victims The two men who died were confirmed to be Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a strength and conditioning coach. It was also noted that the boxer was “heavy-hearted and overcome with emotion over the tragic loss of his two dear friends.” The news of his discharge comes as the global fight fans had expressed condolences for the star in the following the devastating accident.
