Two Men Face Charges In Connection With Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Assault

Two men have been charged following a luggage theft where a believed to be irritant spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.

The charges follow an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases taken after exiting a car park lift, according to law enforcement.

A toddler was caught up in the incident during the incident. Five people went to hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

This event – described by police as was not part of a series and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
